What are you doing on Christmas Eve?

Life is good

We did a fast, (juice fast), with our church yesterday and it helped me decide how to do the one for bringing in the new year…which will be awesome….I’ll tell you more in a minute.  I decided to start on January 5 because it’s a Monday and do juice only on Monday’s and the Daniel fast for the other day’s within the 21 day period.  The renewal and calmness I feel today is noticable and I would like to experience that every week.  You know, it always makes perfect sense after I’ve done it….the body just needs a little rest to rid itself of the bulk….even when the bulk is healthy.

I’m so excited about bringing in the healthy new year with 2 classes at the YMCA in Holt starting right away the first week of January.  It just feels really good and right….that was my awesome news by the way.  The class description and details should be up within the next couple of days, so please join us if you can it’s going to be fun!

I wanted to get you to think of this with plenty of time to adapt to it if you’ve never done it before.  What I’m going to suggest that you do with me is something that I learned about 5 years ago that was a major componant in changing my life for the better.  It will break any strongholds, (weather you know about them or not), you’re spiritual connection will be improved and the difference you will notice in your body, energy, thought and emotions will amaze you.  Do I have your attention?  Good…now stay with me okay?  I’m suggesting starting the year with a fast…the type will depend on you….I’m also suggesting this now so you have time for prayer and meditation on it to let God show you which is best for you….if you are on medication, have a medical condition or concern of course check with your doctor first.  What I have done in the past is a 3 day juice fast, (details are under “detoxification”) on this site, followed by an additional 18 days of the Daniel fast, (vegan diet).  During this time I pray for what I want to come in and what I want to go out….asking for that or better and that it’s in the highest and best interest for all concerned….I also ask for God’s direct guidance and insight….it’s an awesome experience.  Right now my only uncertainty is weather I’m going to start with the 3 day juice fast or do it 1 day a week during the 21 days….it depends on what is scheduled the first week of January.  If you are really toxic and/or have never done it before, you may only want to do one day or just the Daniel fast for the whole time….pray and ask God what to do.  Let me know if you want to do it with me and have a wonderful week!

Have you done your yoga lately?

I think that I’ve gone 2 or 3 weeks without doing yoga.  With the winter coming I’ve felt more like hibernating and less like moving so I’ve just done the bare minimum when it comes to exercise.  I’ve been doing “The Firm 2 x’s a week and Pilate’s here and there thinking that I was getting the most out of my time….even though I know better.  Yoga stretches us, releases emotions, stress, mental garbage, toxins, it really is in a class all on it’s own…and really very valuable.  This morning I had to stop twice because I was so nauseous and was reminded of how amazing this practice is.  I feel more in tune with my body again and I want to feed it better too….I’ve been drifting back into more and more cooked foods but feeling the toxins release so intensely this morning makes me want to be more clean.  I heard Tony Robbins say once, “Nothing tastes as good as thin feels”.  He’s so right….but I would like to add, nothing tastes as good as health feels.
